Kyle Korver signs with Bucks, per report

Just a few weeks after being waived by the Phoenix Suns, veteran sharpshooter Kyle Korver is reportedly on the verge of pursuing his first championship ring with the Milwaukee Bucks.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Korver has agreed to a one-year deal to join the Bucks for the 2019-’20 season.

The 38-year-old guard will provide Milwaukee with some three-point shooting off the bench next season. While he averaged just 20 minutes per game in 54 contests last season with the Utah Jazz, Korver shot 38.4 percent from three-point range and averaged 9.1 points per game.

Milwaukee will likely keep him in a very limited role given his age, but it’s clear the veteran’s touch from beyond the arc remains. He should see plenty of open shots when he is on the floor with Giannis Antetokounmpo.
