One day ahead of their pivotal matchup with the Denver Broncos, the Cleveland Browns got a surprise visit from NBA legend Kobe Bryant.

The team shared a couple of pictures from the visit, noting Bryant was there to discuss the Mamba mentality with the players.

Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com noted that interim head coach Gregg Williams wanted Bryant “to focus on what competition means to him, what drives and motivates him, and his mental approach to becoming great,” per team spokesman Peter John-Baptiste.

Cleveland is still in play for a Wild Card berth with a strong finish and some help. So, also, are the Denver Broncos, so this game means quite a bit to both teams.

Interestingly enough, this isn’t the first team Bryant has visited with this year. Unfortunately, the last time he did this it didn’t work out for the team he tried to pump up.
