As the Golden State Warriors prepare to battle the Toronto Raptors in the NBA Finals, Drake has inevitably become part of the narrative. A controversial, central figure in the Eastern Conference Finals, the Raptors’ global ambassador figures to get plenty of attention in the NBA Finals as well.

So, it was hardly surprising that on Wednesday Warriors star Klay Thompson was asked if he would boycott Drake’s music during the NBA Finals. However, his answer might surprise you:

Perhaps Thompson is just doing everything he can to butter Drake up ahead of Game 1 in Toronto. Perhaps he really loves Drake’s music. The one thing we know for certain is that the Warriors will get a heavy dose of the superstar on Thursday night, provided the Raptors pull off the win at home.
