Kevin Durant doesn’t have time for jokes. Out since late February with an MCL sprain, the former MVP is slated to return for Saturday’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans. This will allow Durant the ability to suit up for the Golden State Warriors’ final three regular season games before the playoffs.
In talking after taking part in practice Friday, Durant had an absolutely hilarious response when asked if he missed meeting with the media during his injury.

No response. Simply a shaking of the head as reporters in Oakland laughed it off.
Durant has obviously been the subject of the media’s attention a whole lot this season after leaving Oklahoma City for Golden State during the summer. If nothing else, his time away from the team seemed to have helped Durant himself avoid the media. That’s not a bad thing for him.
Durant and his Warriors are in the midst of a 13-game winning streak and have clinched the top seed throughout the NBA Playoffs. Maybe he will be in a joking mood should Durant earn his first ever NBA title this upcoming June.
Until then, it’s all business.
