Kenyan Drake’s Miami Miracle ball being sold at auction

It looks like Kenyan Drake is going to either have to have a generous donor or shell out some serious cash himself to get the ball back that he threw into the stands a couple weeks back when the Miami Dolphins beat the New England Patriots thanks to what’s now known as the “Miami Miracle.”

Steiner Sports says it has that ball and is selling it at auction on Friday, with the opening bid being $500.

Of course, this ball went on quite a journey at the end of that game at Hard Rock Stadium. A hook-and-double-lateral play got the ball into Drake’s hands, and he did the rest, out-maneuvering Rob Gronkowski at the end to score a 69-yard game-winning touchdown that made NFL history (watch here).

Now, anyone wiling to put their money on the line can take home a piece of NFL history. Or give the ball to Drake, who desperately wishes he hadn’t thrown it into the stands in a fit of ecstatic exuberance.
