Kenyan Drake was the hero for the Miami Dolphins in their win over the New York Jets in Week 9. After the Jets went ahead late in the fourth quarter, Drake answered by returning the ensuing kickoff for a touchdown (watch here), which stood as the game winner.
Following the play, Drake was not feeling well. According to James Walker of ESPN, Drake “had to throw up after his long kickoff return for a TD,” but added that “it was worth it.”
Well that’s good to know. It would really be unfortunate to throw up and have it not be worth it.
For Drake and the Dolphins, the best medicine came in the form of their third-straight win.
Miami sits at 4-4. If either the Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders or Kansas City Chiefs struggle down the stretch, the Dolphins are in the mix for a potential AFC Wild Card spot.
