Toronto Raptors star forward Kawhi Leonard might have another incentive to stay in the Canadian hub once free agency opens.
Already the toast of Toronto with his Raptors two wins from the NBA Finals, Leonard has an offer he might not be able to refuse.
According to Narcity, local real estate head honcho Simon Mass has offered Leonard a multi-million dollar penthouse for free should he re-sign with the Raptors.
“A representative for the brokerage confirmed to Narcity that Kawhi will get to choose between several lavish penthouse condos at the Four Seasons, St. Regis or Carlton Residences in Toronto,” the report read.
The options are absolutely ridiculous.
The report indicates that Mass, the CEO of The Condo Store Realty Inc., wants to do everything possible to keep the “MVP” in Toronto.
“We want to do what we can to ensure that our MVP stays in Toronto where he is loved and respected for being the ‘best of the best’ for the basketball-loving public of Toronto and Canada,” Mass said.
We’ve seen free agents offered food for life and other luxuries if they sign in a certain city. But this one absolutely takes the cake.
