Josh Rosen: Cardinals GM Steve Keim hasn’t spoken to me in months

Steve Keim

Josh Rosen is now a member of the Miami Dolphins, and based on what he had to say about Arizona Cardinals general manager Steve Keim he’s likely glad to be gone.

In an appearance on the “Rick Eisen Show” Tuesday, Rosen detailed the communication he had with Kliff Kingsbury right before the Cardinals selected Kyler Murray with the No. 1 overall pick. Additionally, he said Keim hasn’t spoken to him in months.

That’s quite honestly a cowardly approach by Keim, if Rosen’s account is true. And there’s no reason to doubt him on this.

That the Cardinals wanted to move on from Rosen and draft Murray was the worst-kept secret in NFL draft history. Everyone knew it.

Keim should have had conversations with the quarterback he drafted No. 10 overall just one year prior. To leave Rosen in the dark without any hint of communication until a minute before the Murray pick is despicable.
