Josh McCown announced his retirement from the New York Jets and the NFL on Monday. It did not take him long to find a new job.
Shortly after McCown’s retirement announcement, it was announced that he’s been hired by ESPN as an NFL analyst.
McCown spent some time with 10 different NFL franchises. With that, he should have solid knowledge about how different teams, players, and coaches work.
Given how long he played, McCown no doubt has plenty of additional insight to offer. He’s been a starter, sat on the bench, and had both good seasons and bad. So, McCown can speak with authority on pretty much any experience the NFL has to offer.
