Josh Gordon showed a bit of humor and restraint responding to a false report on Monday that he’d been popped again for a DUI.
The news station 11Alive News in Atlanta accidentally retweeted the story revolving around Gordon’s DUI in 2014, causing Twitter to momentarily experience a minor upheaval in response. Here’s the note from the station regarding the mistake.

After all he’s been through, one might expect Gordon to feel sensitive about people thinking he was in trouble again and about having his past transgressions dragged out once more.
However, the Cleveland Browns receiver took the entire thing in stride and offered this response.
Suspended for the entire season after drinking again in January, Gordon’s NFL career is hanging by a bare thread. Much like Aldon Smith, who was released by the San Francisco 49ers last Friday, one more mistake will likely cut off any chance he has to return to the game any time soon—if ever.
