Jordan Spieth knows how to make friends in the press.
The PGA Tour’s bright young star had pizzas and beers sent to the BMW Championship press room on Friday as a show of appreciation to those who cover him and his peers on a regular basis.

Spieth hit a hole-in-one yesterday on No. 2. He is currently in a tie for fourth place at 11-under par for the BMW Championship, seven shots behind leader Jason Day, who shot an amazing round of 63 on Friday after his unreal 61 in Round 1.
The 22-year old Texan entered the tournament No. 2 overall in the FedEx Cup playoffs and still has a shot at making a charge up the leaderboard this weekend. He’ll need Day to take his foot off the gas pedal to make it happen, though.
Regardless of where he finishes in the standings, you have to believe the young golfer won’t have any problem with negative press after his generous offering on Friday.
