Johnny-be-good Manziel parties responsibly after Cavaliers game

By Rachel Wold

Since earning his starting job back, Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel has respectfully kept his off-field behavior on the decent side of the fence.

Therefore, credit is due to Manziel, who went out to hang with some buddies on Thursday night after watching the Cleveland Cavaliers game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

According to TMZ, Manziel stayed past 1:00 a.m. but did not partake in any drunken craziness. With no inflatable swan in sight, no shots or spinning champagne bottles, Manziel proved to be the model citizen just enjoying a night out with the guys.

The report that Manziel made it to practice on time today should further indicate that there was no over indulgences of intoxicating spirits.

With negative news constantly following the quarterback around, it is nice to report the positive for once when it comes to one of the NFL’s most shadowed players.

The next time we see Manziel should be when he starts behind center for the Browns at CenturyLink field in Seattle when Cleveland faces the Seahawks on Sunday.
