The Philadelphia 76ers made a big statement on Wednesday night with a win over the Boston Celtics — a team that had been dominating this series in recent years. After the game, Joel Embiid and Terry Rozier made some statements of their own.
When discussing the game speaking with media, Rozier trolled Philly in general by downplaying the win.
But perhaps the guard was simply a bit put off that his mind-game tactic against Embiid didn’t work out. You see, before the game took place, he had taken a shot at the big man.
During an interview on FS1’s “FAIR GAME with Kristine Leahy,” he was asked to give the first word that comes to mind about Embiid. He responded by saying, “lame.”
