Jets’ Jamal Adams denies he requested a trade

Jets' Jamal Adams is not happy with Week 5 performance.

Rumors were hot and heavy surrounding New York Jets safety Jamal Adams ahead of Tuesday’s trade deadline.

While nothing came to fruition on that end, reports suggested that Adams would welcome a change of scenery.

The third-year Pro Bowler promptly took to social media Tuesday afternoon to decry any rumors that he had in fact requested a trade.

That clears some stuff up. It’s still going to be all sorts of awkward for the Jets when they make their way back to practice on Wednesday.

In addition to Adams, the team was apparently listening to offers for Le’Veon Bell and Robby Anderson.

At 1-6 on the season, things have gone south in Jersey big time. Tuesday’s trade rumors will likely only add to that.
