It’s no secret that James Harden likes to embellish a bit (aka: he flops really bad) when shooting threes. He typically launches his legs forward into defenders then claims they came down into his landing area.
That happened quite a bit in Game 1, and the Houston Rockets were furious that the refs didn’t give him many of those calls. Chris Paul was actually ejected for protesting late in the fourth quarter after being hit with his second technical of the game.
Then, after the game, Harden complained about how if the refs would only call a fair game he would be happy.
