Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette arrested on traffic violation charges

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back Leonard Fournette

Leonard Fournette’s career with the Jacksonville Jaguars has taken several bad turns since the team selected him No. 4 overall in the 2017 NFL Draft.

The latest bad turn apparently stems from an unpaid traffic violation ticket from back in November.

According to this report from Vic Micolucci of WJXT in Jacksonville, Fournette was arrested and booked at the Duval County Jail Thursday afternoon.

As you can see, Fournette is seen being booked int the jail. The report notes that this stems from a citation in Neptune Beach late last year.

The Jaguars themselves also released a statement following Fournette’s arrest.

There’s absolutely no excuse for this type of negligence on Fournette’s part. All he had to do was pay the fine and no one would’ve even known about the incident.

Instead, the running back’s immaturity is coming out in droves once again. That can’t be music to the ears of Jaguars front office head Tom Coughlin and Co.
