A.J. Green Unlikely to Play Sunday

The Cincinnati Bengals need all the help they can get on the offensive side of the ball after being shutout last week by the Indianapolis Colts. Without the services of wide receiver A.J. Green, this unit was able to put up eight first downs and just 135 total yards in what was the Bengals third consecutive game without a victory.

Now heading into an important Week 8 matchup with the Baltimore Ravens, it appears that Green will not be able to suit up. The team listed him as doubtful in their final injury report on Friday.

This would be a major blow to a team that is in desperate need of a win. At 3-2-1 on the season, a loss here would put Cincinnati three games behind the Ravens in the win column entering Week 9.

Green hasn’t played since injuring his toe Week 5 against the Patriots.
