Veteran right-hander Ivan Nova will get another chance to prove himself, joining the Colorado Rockies organization, FanSided.com reported Monday.

It is expected to be a minor-league deal for the 34-year-old, who has a 90-77 record over 11 seasons with a 4.38 ERA. In 240 career appearances (227 starts), he has pitched 1,347 2/3 innings for the New York Yankees (2010-16), Pittsburgh Pirates (2016-18), Chicago White Sox (2019) and Detroit Tigers (2020).

Nova, 34, pitched in just four games with the Tigers last season, a year after he made a career-best 34 starts with the White Sox in 2019. He was 1-1 with the Tigers and had an 8.53 ERA, with his season limited to 19 innings because of triceps tendonitis.

Nova had a minor-league deal with the Philadelphia Phillies earlier this year but was released from that deal in March when he did not make the major league roster out of spring training.
