Flown in to Philadelphia to have an examination for a nagging groin issue, Clowney underwent the surgery. O’Brian reports that Clowney, who hasn’t been bothered by this too long, should be ready for training camp.
So far, the Texans first-round draft pick from South Carolina has been a full participant in Houston’s voluntary team activities. Additionally, Clowney has only missed one practice and that was due to his appearance at the NFLPA Rookie premiere.
