Houston Texans: Coach Bill O’Brien Nixes Segways

New Houston Texans’ head coach Bill O’Brien obviously wants to make changes to his new team and one of his new rules is no more Segways for the team. Segways became a staple of transportation for the Texans after running back Arian Foster purchased one as a Christmas gift for each of his offensive linemen.

Regarding the ban of Segways, O’Brien told reporters the following (via Fox Sports).

We go in the locker room. They put their stuff on, they grab their helmet, they walk out the door, they go right down to the right and they walk over that bridge over the highway and then get to the practice field and we start practicing, he joked with reporters on Thursday.

O’Brien’s message comes through loud and clear to me, basically translating to, “get your lazy asses up and walk to practice”. Sorry guys, no more fun times like this.
