We have all heard former All-Star and multi-year MVP winner Barry Bonds is putting on a Giants uniform for the first time since 2007. This time however, he’s taking the instructor approach.
“I’m more nervous at this than when I was playing, because as a player, it was only my mind, me,” says Bonds.
The most important question and issue most have is in regards to his PED usage. Bonds’ response was straight forward:
“I already went to court, and that’s where I’ll leave it.”
He also made sure he told reporters there is no doubt he belongs in the Hall of Fame. While twitter has been blowing up with “steroid puns” and making sure they give their opinions about the 49 year-old, Bonds seems to be taking all of the chatter with stride. Let’s not forget one thing, the legend did finish his 22 year career with a .298 batting average, 762 home runs, and still a ton of respect and admiration from San Francisco fans.
