Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino

Hall of Fame basketball coach Rick Pitino left the Louisville Cardinals in disgrace back in 2017 after a pay-for-play and other scandals plagued the program.

Prior to that, Pitino was considered one of the most successful coaches in college basketball history. He led Kentucky to a title in 1996 and followed that up with another championship with Louisville in 2013.

Pitino is now headed overseas to coach Panathinkaikos of the EuroLeague, a superpower across the pond.

Winners of six EuroLeague titles, the Greece-based franchise is among the biggest powers in Europe. It last won a title in 2010-11.
