Following up on his big announcement Wednesday about pro sports in Florida, Governor Ron DeSantis extended an offer to NFL teams.

DeSantis: ‘The Swamp’ could play host to NFL team on Sundays

Appearing on Fox News’ Fox & Friends Thursday morning, DeSantis announced the University of Florida’s football stadium could host an NFL team.

“I’ve already spoken with some of our colleges like University of Florida,” DeSantis said. “They got a great football stadium — “The Swamp” — that’s not used on Sundays. So if an NFL team needs a place to land, we could work that out, too.”

We already know that the three NFL teams in California might need to find accommodations. We also know that at least 10 NFL teams are exploring options to hold training camps outside their states.

So, Florida might just get some calls about this proposition.
