George Springer sucked all the joy out of Comerica Park Monday night. Niko Goodrum got a nice swing on a ball and appeared to have a home run to right field.
Then, Springer made a brilliant leaping catch, timing it perfectly to rob him of his glory.
This brilliant play helped pitcher Matt Boyd escape the first inning unscathed.
