Following a thrilling win thanks to a game-winning touchdown catch by DeAndre Hopkins on Saturday, former Houston Texans quarterback T.J. Yates took to Twitter to let loose on Houston’s fan base and the media covering the team.
Yates, who played in Houston from 2011-’13, ’15, ’17, called out the media and fans for overreacting on social media when the team fell behind the New York Jets late in the fourth quarter.
All the Texans fans and Houston media overreacting like crazy on twitter is so funny to me. It’s hard to win in the league man. And they’ve done it 10 out of the last 11 times!! Find a real problem lol

The Texans ultimately came back to win the game and as Yates mentioned, they’ve now won 10 of their last 11 games and are on a clear path for the division title.
Though Yates should also know Twitter is filled with overreactions and perhaps he overreacted to everyone else overreacting. Either way, the fan base, players and coaches can now celebrate a 10-win season.
