Former Steelers kicker Jeff Reed kicked out of Hall of Fame Game

Football fans were ecstatic that their beautiful sport returned Sunday night when the Pittsburgh Steelers and Minnesota Vikings squared off in the Hall of Fame Game.

However, it appears former Steelers kicker Jeff Reed was a little too excited. Deadspin logged a couple tweets from fans showing the 36-year-old being escorted from the stands in Canton, Ohio, for allegedly fighting with another fan.

Reed spent portions of nine seasons with the Steelers, including a seven-year stretch as the team’s full-time kicker. He currently ranks second in franchise history with 919 points, connecting on 81.9 percent of his field goals.

After Sunday night, he’s slowly creeping up for the team record of most ejections by a former player.

Welcome back, football, and all the weirdness that comes with you.
