Former NFL WR Dorial Green-Beckham arrested on marijuana charges

Nearly two years after he last played in the NFL, former Tennessee Titans and Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham was arrested on possession of marijuana and resisting arrest in Springfield, Mo. on Thursday.

According to KY3, the Springfield Police booked the 25-year-old into the Greene County Jail.

According to the report, officers served a search warrant at the local residence and found Green-Beckham trying to exit the home through one of its windows. According to the police report, police officers found marijuana inside his pocket and a pound of marijuana inside his backpack.

Once the No. 40 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, he last played for the Eagles in 2016 but was released by the organization in June 2017.

The talented but problematic wide receiver has run into numerous off-field issues during his football career, including a DWI arrest in December 2017. The latest arrest further puts to doubt to any possibility of him returning to the NFL.
