The Indianapolis Colts have agreed to sign defensive tackle Antwaun Woods to a one-year contract nearly one week after he was released by the Dallas Cowboys.

The move was announced Tuesday by Woods’ agent, Drew Rosenhaus.

Woods, 28, was cut by the Cowboys last Wednesday, two weeks after signing his restricted free-agent tender with the club. But he was among six players let go by Dallas in the ensuing days after the NFL draft.

Listed at 6-foot-1 and 310 pounds by the Colts, Woods entered the NFL in 2016 as an undrafted free agent signed by the Tennessee Titans out of Southern California. He later hooked on with the Cowboys after Tennessee waived him in May 2018.

In 40 career games (32 starts) with Dallas and Tennessee, he has posted 83 tackles and 2 1/2 sacks.
