Goalkeeper Jimmy Maurer signed a two-year deal Friday to remain with FC Dallas.

The contract also includes a club option for the 2024 season. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Maurer, 32, has played for Dallas since 2018 after six seasons in the now-defunct second-tier North American Soccer League. Now in his fourth season in Dallas, Maurer has made 40 MLS starts and recorded 12 clean sheets.

In 2020, Maurer led all MLS starting goalkeepers with a 0.84 GAA and an 80.6 save percentage.

“I’m super excited to commit my future here and be a part of this moving forward,” Maurer said via a news release. “I’ve really enjoyed being here. I am looking forward to the future and getting to work on the field even more.”
