Revenge is a dish best served cold.
Two years ago, Old Dominion proudly unveiled a new scoreboard for their football stadium. They included Virginia Tech in the reveal, showing that the Monarchs beat the Hokies by the score of 35-24.
Well, at the time, whomever was running the Virginia Tech Football Twitter account thought it was funny to troll Old Dominion, writing, “Scoreboard has a case of wishful thinking!”

Fast forward a couple years, and not only did this tweet not age well, the Monarchs outdid their own prediction, beating the Hokies 49-35, engineering one of the biggest upsets in modern college football.
Needless to say, social media never forgets these things, and fans who uncovered this old tweet had some fun with it.
Well at least they got the "35" correct. pic.twitter.com/Tgd2wPwFcI
