Andrew Luck still isn’t throwing footballs, which is a problem for both him and the Indianapolis Colts. But given what his new teammate, Eric Ebron, had to say about the quarterback, he’ll likely figure out some sort of fix sometime soon.
On Thursday, Ebron, who signed in Indianapolis after spending his first four seasons with Matthew Stafford and the Detroit Lions, offered an amazing quote to describe his new quarterback.
New Colt Eric Ebron on Andrew Luck:
“The smartest person on Earth. Well, maybe the second-smartest person on Earth behind the guy who invented Amazon.”

Though, there can be no doubt about Luck’s intelligence. When he came out of Stanford, he was widely seen as the heir apparent to Peyton Manning, not only for his physical abilities but for his mental capacity as well.
Hopefully we’ll all get to see Luck’s intelligence and skills spinning footballs this year. He and the Colts have maintained he’ll be healthy for the start of the season, but that’s what they said last year, too.
Don’t hold your breath, Colts fans. You might run out of air.
