Dick Vitale shares strong opinion about basketball, football games played without fans

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to surge across America, putting basketball and football seasons in jeopardy.

At this point, it seems inevitable that games will be played without fans — if they are played at all. College basketball legend Dick Vitale has a strong opinion about that.

Vitale shared a no-nonsense view of the idea that basketball and football games would be played without fans. Responding to an article he saw on Twitter, Vitale shared the following message:

No doubt, many people feel the same way about this idea.

But if sports are going to be played any time soon in America, this is almost certainly how it’s going to be.
