Saints GM won’t comment on potentially adding Dez Bryant

Dez Bryant would like to have another chance to play for the New Orleans Saints. But if that’s on the table general manager Mickey Loomis isn’t divulging any interest.

Asked about Bryant during his press conference Monday, Loomis said, “I don’t think I want to comment on that either,” after refusing to comment on “must” positions in the draft, per Luke Johnson of NOLA.com.

Last year, Bryant signed with the Saints in early November, only to suffer a torn Achilles during his second practice with the team. Playing again this season is a must for Bryant, who made it clear he doesn’t want to end his career on an injury.

Bryant will likely end up on an NFL roster before the season begins. Though his star certainly has faded in recent years, his ability to make big plays in the red zone should lead to a camp invite at the very least.
