Dez Bryant rips Colin Kaepernick, Cowboys and Saints in odd rant

It looks like free-agent wide receiver Dez Bryant is taking a page from Antonio Brown’s book.

Pretty much out of the blue, Bryant went on a pretty big Twitter rant Tuesday that included him talking about the treatment of black players in the NFL and somehow deciding to blast the Saints, Cowboys and Colin Kaepernick.

It was as strange as it was entertaining.

Outside of the absolutely horrific grammar, we have no idea where to start here. Bryant is somehow indicating that Kaepernick decided not to play ball because he was no longer a starter in the NFL.

The fact is that Kaepernick started his final game as a member of the San Francisco 49ers back in 2016. He started 11 games that season, compiling 18 total touchdowns and four interceptions.

But we digress.

Bryant then seemingly took aim at the Dallas Cowboys and their treatment of black players under owner Jerry Jones. “Ask any black player on the Cowboys how I acted.” Again, what does this even mean?

Adding even another layer to this odd rant, Bryant decided to go after his former New Orleans Saints squad.

New Orleans signed Bryant late last season. He ultimately suffered a torn Achilles in his first practice as a member of the team. What that has to do with his decision to sign with the Saints remains unclear.

Bryant did attempt to clarify in his own way.

Bryant, 31, announced just recently that he plans to reach out to teams in an attempt to return to the NFL.

We’re not going out on a limb to suggest that this rant won’t help matters in that regard. Whew!
