The rumor mill has been active ever since Jalen Ramsey asked the Jacksonville Jaguars for a trade, and the Kansas City Chiefs have been mentioned as a potential landing spot.

In particular, Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports tweeted Tuesday morning that the Chiefs were emerging as a “primary suitor” for Ramsey.

Jeffri Chadiha of NFL Network reached out to the Chiefs about this rumor, and the response he got from his source within the organization was distinctly different.

For what it’s worth, the Jaguars are reportedly asking for two first-round picks in return for Ramsey.

That’s a steep price to pay.

Though, if the Chiefs were to add a player of Ramsey’s caliber to their defense, it would certainly improve their already good chances of winning a championship.
