Oakland Raiders legend Cliff Branch passed away at the age of 71 on Saturday, and on Sunday current Raiders, including Derek Carr, honored his memory.

Adam Hill of the Las Vegas Review-Journal shared that Carr, new Raiders receiver Tyrell Williams, along with “a few coaches and many fans,” chose to wear Branch’s No. 21 jersey on Sunday during training camp practice.

A little while later, pictures came in on social media backing up this initial observation.

It’s a conscientious, touching way to honor Branch and his entire family as they grieve his passing.
