Denver Broncos starting inside linebacker Alexander Johnson will miss the remainder of the season after sustaining a torn pectoral muscle.

Johnson is the Broncos’ second starting linebacker to have his season ended by to a pectoral injury. Josey Jewell suffered the same injury on Sept. 19.

Johnson, 29, recorded four tackles before being injured late in the first half of Denver’s 34-24 setback to the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. He has 32 tackles, two sacks and one fumble recovery in six games this season.

In his four-year career, Johnson has 249 tackles, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 38 career games (34 starts) with the Broncos.

Linebacker Micah Kiser replaced Johnson in the second half on Sunday.
