Davidson star Kellan Grady has entered the transfer portal as a graduate transfer, according to multiple reports on Monday.
Grady, a 6-5 shooting guard, figures to one of the more heavily pursed transfers.
Grady became the sixth player in school history to reach the 2,000-point mark on Thursday during the Wildcats’ season-ending 75-61 loss to North Carolina State in the first round of the NIT.
Grady scored 2,002 points in 115 games (113 starts) over four seasons for Davidson. The school record is held by current NBA star Stephen Curry, who had 2,635 points in three seasons (2006-09).
Though Grady has already played four seasons, he is eligible for one more due to the NCAA rule that allows all players an extra season due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Grady’s 240 3-pointers rank sixth in Davidson history. He was a first-team All-Atlantic-10 selection this season.
