The Carolina Panthers continue to work on solidifying the offensive line. After signing center Matt Paradis, they re-signed right tackle Daryl Williams.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports it’s a one-year prove-it deal worth $7 million.
The #Panthers are re-signing RT Daryl Williams to a 1-year deal worth $7M, source said. He gets another year to prove it, then hits the market again next offseason.

Given the way Williams played in 2017, and last year before suffering his season-ending injury, the Panthers are getting a steal for this season. He’s an outstanding right tackle who was likely on his way to earning a big payday on a long-term deal before that injury.
Since being selected in the fourth round out of Oklahoma back in 2015, Williams has started 29 games, all with the Panthers.
