A little less than one year after tearing his ACL, Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook is ready to return to the field. According to a report, Cook is “preparing to play” in Friday night’s preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks.

This goes in line with what Cook has said for a while, vowing to be back by Week 1. Cook tore his ACL in a Week 4 loss to the Detroit Lions in his rookie year of 2017. But while his rookie season wasn’t long, he did make quite an impression.
In only four games, Cook rushed for 345 yards while averaging a robust 4.8 yards per attempt.
If Cook does come back strong, he figures to make quite an impact with an already strong offense, led by new quarterback Kirk Cousins.
