Dak Prescott on shoulder injury: ‘I’ll be good go to Sunday’

Dak Prescott coin toss

Dak Prescott is dealing with a shoulder injury to his throwing arm, but the Dallas Cowboys quarterback is confident he’ll be “good to go” Sunday.

Speaking with reporters Thursday, Prescott said he has no doubt he will play, per Jon Machota of The Athletic.

These comments echo what Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said about Prescott’s ability to play, and play well, Sunday, despite the shoulder injury.

Prescott also expressed no concern about anything other than just some pain.

However, it’s crystal clear that the injury suffered by Prescott is no small issue.

The Cowboys may not see Prescott throw the ball at all this week during practices as they prepare for their pivotal Week 16 game against the Philadelphia Eagles. It’s as must-win a game as you’ll see in the NFL, as the winner will take control of the NFC East with one week remaining.
