Dak Prescott after loss to the Jets: ‘It’s a clean slate’

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is keeping his chin up after his team dropped a third consecutive game.

It came against a previously winless New York Jets squad on the road Sunday. It was a pretty ugly overall performance, especially from the defense.

Despite the surprising loss, Prescott is making sure to look at the glass as being half full ahead of next week’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The good news here is that Philadelphia dropped its game to the Minnesota Vikings in blowout fashion on Sunday, too.

Both the Eagles and Cowboys head into “Sunday Night Football” next week at 3-3 on the season and tied for first. Meanwhile, the New York Giants are just one game back at 2-4.

For his part, Prescott completed 28-of-40 passes for 277 yards without a touchdown or an interception in the 24-22 loss to New York.
