Following a horrible performance from their offensive line in a Week 1 loss to the Carolina Panthers, the Dallas Cowboys are looking at the veteran free agent market for a reinforcement.
As announced by his agent on Twitter, veteran guard Xavier Su’a-Filo has signed a deal with the Cowboys.

A second-round pick of the Houston Texans back in 2014, Su’a-Filo started 41 games in four seasons with the team. That included starting 31 of a possible 32 games in 2015 and 2016. He was released by the Titans earlier this month after just one season with the team.
Dallas had added fellow guard Parker Ehinger in a trade with Kansas City prior to Week 1. But he suffered an injury and was placed on injured reserve. For now, the team is relying on rookie tackle Connor Williams to play guard. It’s a clear indication that Su’a-Filo might get some early run in Dallas.
Dak Prescott was sacked a total of six times in Dallas’ 16-8 loss to Carolina on Sunday. He’s going to need better pass protection upfront to help this Cowboys team improve on offense.
