Cowboys reportedly sign Pro Bowl WR Randall Cobb

The Dallas Cowboys have reportedly signed former Green Bay Packers Pro Bowl wide receiver Randal Cobb to a one-year, $5 million contract.

Dak Prescott is going to have even more help on offense this coming season. One day after visiting with the Dallas Cowboys, former Green Bay Packers Pro Bowl receiver Randall Cobb has reportedly signed on in Big D.

This is no small get for the Cowboys. Cobb, 28, will replace the recently departed Cole Beasley as Dallas’ starting slot receiver. He joins Amari Cooper to form a stellar one-two punch at receiver for the Cowboys.

A Pro Bowl selection back in 2014, Cobb has regressed some in recent seasons. He’s coming off a 38-catch, 383-yard performance for Green Bay back in 2018.

It’s likely that a change in scenery will help Cobb salvage a once-promising career.

According to reports, Cobb’s deal is worth $5 million over one season. It’s a low-risk, high-reward proposition for Dallas.
