NFL football players have come out this summer upset about their ratings on the new Madden video game. In fact, Jacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette demanded that he be removed from the game altogether.
Dallas Cowboys defensive end Tyrone Crawford is also upset with the franchise. Though, his ire isn’t directed at an 80 overall rating. Rather, he’s upset with the graphics department and how they made him look.
YO @EAMaddenNFL we need to have a talk. This is unacceptable. Forget my stats. What’s up with the photo? Who on your staff felt it ok to make my body look like humpty-dumpty? 😡😡I DEMAND A REVIEW! pic.twitter.com/WgL3sMjlvi

Speaking objectively, Crawford has every right to be upset. As he noted, the veteran certainly looks like humpty-dumpty out there. At 6-foot-4 and 290 pounds, he’s anything but on the field.
We’re in 2018. Video games have become almost real-life with their graphics. And Madden is out here making Crawford look like a fictional character from the 18th century and somehow acting like W.C. Fields.
Come on, have some pride in your work.
