Could Marshawn Lynch re-join Seahawks after rash of injuries to RBs?

The Seattle Seahawks are dealing with an incredible rash of injuries at the running back position, so could Marshawn Lynch come to the rescue?

This is something that Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times wrote he wouldn’t rule out.

Condotta also noted that veteran free agent C.J. Anderson could be on the team’s radar.

Lynch, a free agent, is certainly able to re-join his old teammates. He last played during the 2018 season, appearing in six games while tallying 376 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.

The obvious question is whether Lynch is in any kind of football shape. If he’s been staying ready, obviously the Seahawks could do a lot worse than bringing Beast Mode back to Seattle.

As for the circumstances that could potentially bring Lynch back to the Seahawks, Seattle is now down its top three backs. Already having placed Rashaad Penny on injured reserve, the Seahawks will now be without starter Chris Carson, and backup C.J. Prosise, for the rest of the season.
