Converse is getting back into the NBA game. We all remember just how big this shoe company was in the 1980s and early 1990s, with multiple stars sporting the iconic brand.
Now, as shoe deals and apparel contracts take on a whole new meaning, Converse itself will release sneakers made from authentic NBA jerseys later this month.

In terms of style, this might not be everyone’s cup of tea. But Converse is surely keeping with its history in creating these shoes, especially with the high-top look. Personally, this one scribe thinks the Lakers and Bulls versions are pretty darn sweet.

It’s also a very nice change up from modern NBA sneaker deals with star players, some of which have received criticism for being too unoriginal.
Well done, Converse.
