The Columbus Blue Jackets activated forward Max Domi off injured reserve on Thursday.

Domi missed four games with a rib fracture sustained in a game against the expansion Seattle Kraken on Oct. 16. Despite being injured, Domi fed Patrik Laine for the game-winning goal in overtime.

The 26-year-old Domi is expected to return to the lineup for Friday’s game against the host New York Rangers.

Domi has four points (one goal, three assists) in two games after undergoing shoulder surgery in the offseason.

He has 279 points (91 goals, 188 assists) in 431 career games with the Arizona Coyotes, Montreal Canadiens and Blue Jackets. Domi was selected by the Coyotes with the 12th overall pick of the 2013 NHL Draft.
