Colts reportedly re-sign CB Pierre Desir

After plenty of buzz about Pierre Desir potentially landing on another team in free agency, the cornerback is headed back to Indianapolis.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports Desir is going to re-sign with the Colts on a three-year deal.

Originally a fourth-round pick out of Lindenwood, Desir started his career in Cleveland and played two seasons with the Browns. He was released ahead of the 2016 season and ended up landing with the then-San Diego Chargers, then moving up north to sign with the Seattle Seahawks after being released shortly after signing.

After spending one year on the West Coast, he was claimed by the Colts after being waived by Seattle. He started six games for Indy in 2017 before becoming a full-time starter last year.

In his two years with the Colts, Desir evolved from being a complementary player to a solid starter. He had two interceptions and broke up 15 passes during his first two years with the team and is an ascending talent whose best years are ahead of him.
