The Colorado Rockies reinstated right-handed starter Jon Gray from the 10-day injured list in a flurry of moves on Wednesday.

The team also put right-hander Chi Chi Gonzalez (oblique strain) on the IL, put right-hander Robert Stephenson on the paternity list and optioned infielder Joshua Fuentes to Triple-A Albuquerque. Infielder Colton Welker and right-hander Antonio Santos were recalled from Albuquerque.

Gray, 29, hasn’t pitched since Aug. 28 due to tightness in his right forearm. He gets the start Wednesday afternoon against the visiting San Francisco Giants.

Gray is 7-10 with a 4.13 ERA in 24 starts this year. He has struck out 125 batters and walked 53 in 126 1/3 innings.

Gonzalez, 29, is 3-7 with a 6.50 ERA in 23 games (18 starts) in 2021.

Stephenson, 28, is 1-1 with a 3.76 ERA in 41 appearances out of the bullpen.

Fuentes, 28, is batting .225 with seven homers and 33 RBIs in 95 games with the Rockies.

Welker, 23, was a fourth-round pick in 2016 and has yet to make his MLB debut. He batted .286 with three homers and 18 RBIs in 23 games at Albuquerque.

Santos, 24, is 0-1 with a 4.76 ERA in seven relief appearances this season for Colorado.
